Pau D'Arco is a tree native to the Amazon rainforest and other tropical areas of Latin and South America. It has a long history of use by indigenous peoples of the rainforest. There are indications that its use predates the time of the Incas. Throughout South America, tribes living thousands of miles away have used it for the same medicinal purposes for hundreds of years.

Since the 1980s, Pau D'Arco has been the subject of numerous scientific investigations for its ability to protect against viruses, protect against Candida overgrowth, as a general tonic for the reproductive organs, and as a skin nutrient. In South American herbal medicine, it has been medically tested, and is considered to be an astringent, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral.

Instructions for use

Add 1 teaspoon to your favorite juice, smoothie or tea. Take up to 2 times daily.

For acute symptoms, it is important to simmer this powder for optimal absorption. We recommend heating it for 15-20 minutes, simmering over medium heat. It can be combined with other blood-nourishing medicines such as cinnamon sticks, fresh turmeric, or ginger for added flavor. Enjoy!
